About Mt. Kenya
Mount Kenya is Kenya's highest mountain and the second-highest in Africa. Its highest peaks—Batian, Nelion and Point Lenana—rise above a stunning alpine landscape of glaciers, lobelia forests, and dramatic valley scenery.
The mountain is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with forested slopes that provide critical water resources for the region. Visitors enjoy cooler mountain air, unique wildlife, and a chance to explore one of East Africa's most iconic destinations.
